I'm liking the 200 290 spring in the TRA. Testing was in a smaller area, so top speed was not reached. Still, there was 100 yards or so, so it did get to picking them up and putting them down pretty good. The clutches felt much more in sync than with the stronger springs in the drive.

One correction to the driven clutch set up is that in all above posts is that the Arctic Cat driven's yellow spring was adjusted to the softest position. Dohh! I had got it in my mind it was in the tightest position, and only when I (finally) went to adjust it, saw I was wrong.

A cheap temp gun was used to check how hot each clutch was getting. There was about a one minute drive from the track to the pits, so that readings may be affected to some degree. Hehe, I made a funny. Also the time it took to climb out of the buggy.

The drive was 155 degrees, and the driven was 120 degrees. From my limited knowledge, these temps indicate the belt is being held more tightly by the driven. Since the driven spring is in the softest hole, it seems a softer spring is called for?

So I think I'll run it like this and check belt life.

I believe a Pilot seat will bolt right in, and it has MUCH better support than the 350 stock seat.

The stock bushings are cast iron riding on steel, not polyurethane. Due to the high loads on them, polyurethane would flex too much.

The dishwasher does a nice job of cleaning cases out without a boat load of parts cleaner.

Bake them in the oven after until the bearings drop out.

I texted Ruby to add it to the site. I seem to always quote several year old prices.
